He is a Registered Environmental Assessor and Auditor holds a Master of Science in Environment and Natural Resources and Bachelor (Arts) in Environmental Management of Makerere University. He is a certified and registered environmental Impact Assessor and Auditor with National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
He has undertaken various consultancy tasks as a Natural Resources Specialist (Landuse planning and Risk Assessment) in several projects which include but not limited to those in the Energy sector, Road sector, Industry and urban infrastructure, Agricultural sector in addition to research assignments with international organizations such as United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
He is well-versed in local, national, and international environmental laws and regulations, and has proficiency in conducting environmental impact assessments (EIAs), site assessments, and risk analyses. William effectively utilizes his strong analytical skills to identify problems, evaluate solutions, and make recommendations following environmental audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
His knowledge of environmental issues specific to various industries, such as oil and gas, construction, and manufacturing, is notable, and he is adept at identifying and evaluating environmental risks to develop and implement strategies for mitigating environmental impacts.
